Baby & Milestone Sessions — Curious, and Full of Personality

WELCOME TO BLUSH BABY STUDIOS

This stage is one of my absolute favorites!
Your baby is awake. They’re sitting, smiling, grabbing their feet, studying everything — and their personality is starting to shine through. These sessions are playful, natural, and deeply connected, capturing a version of your baby that passes just as quickly as the newborn stage.

I’m Jennifer, a Boise baby and milestone photographer, and my baby sessions are designed to feel relaxed, guided, and real. I focus on connection first — between baby and parents — while documenting all the details you’ll want to remember: the expressions, the rolls, the curiosity, and the way your baby moves through the world at this age.

This stage is priceless, and it deserves more than a few phone photos.

Wardrobe, Styling, and a Guided Experience

You don’t need to plan outfits or shop for the session.

I provide:
  • A curated wardrobe for babies at this stage
  • Wardrobe options for moms
  • Neutral, timeless styling that photographs beautifully
  • Full posing and flow guidance throughout the session

Everything is designed to keep the focus on your baby — without stress or guesswork.

When is the best time for a baby or milestone session?

The ideal time for a "sitter" session is when your baby is sitting independently, typically between 6–8 months. Sitting allows for the most variety and interaction.  One year sessions can be done close to their first birthday.

Most baby and milestone sessions last 60–90 minutes, depending on your baby’s temperament and the variety we’re capturing.

I do have a curated wardrobe for sitter sessions.   For 1 year sessions, I always recommend neutral clothing.  Think whites, creams, grays

Wardrobe options are available for moms, and I provide guidance for coordinating looks.

Yes. Professional hair and makeup is available as an optional add-on for studio sessions.

Are parents and siblings included?

Yes. Always.

Do you offer other sessions beyond the baby stage?

Yes.

What is the investment?

The $395 session fee reserves your date and experience. Most families invest between $1,200–$3,500 in finished artwork and digital collections. Payment plans are available through Affirm and Klarna.
